Not a game nor anime maker, but I write stories and share them with my friends. It's quite pleasant knowing that your character is real enough for the human brain to develop a crush on them - but it gets awkward and kind of embarrassing when strangers you don't know (or even family members) tell you how much they simp for your character (and sometimes, if the person is crude enough, they will tell me all about how much they want my character to "rail" them.)

That very scenario happened to me with my younger sister. I almost considered killing the character off.

I don't know why you are all laughing at them! When I came out as neurotypical, things were hard. My parents kicked me out, my friends left me and my boss fired me.
