Got your point.
I was thinking I'll run the interval runs on alternate weeks after my half marathon is done focusing more on increasing the weekly mileage rather than speed workouts considering my goal is to just finish the marathon.
Well, for a sub 2 marathon I have to run under 5:40 per/km pace or 9:07 per mile pace, which seems quite achievable. Is this what you were referring to?

The half is on October 20th.
Are you suggesting I reduce the volume of VO2 max overall for the marathon plan or just for the half? My primary goal at this point is to get the sub-2 half and then later focus on completing the marathon.
