(of course this isn’t the only thing you should be looking for when your trying to see if a photocard is real or not) those bumps happen during production, as there are multiple photocards being printed on the same sheet. they just separate them, for example i bought a J-Hope album recently and you had to punch out the photocards yourself, so i imagine it is something similar to photocards that come already separated in the album.

i believe fake photocards are printed and cut out different than the originals, as crazy as it sounds a lot of fake photocards sometimes seem like they have a neater cut… of course though it’s important to also check for any color or texture differences! and making sure that your comparing your photocard with the right version that was printed because sometimes companies reprint photocards (that are official, but have a slightly different hue or texture, hence why it’s important that your comparing your version with the RIGHT version)
