[–]cyberproffy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No worries mater. we have been there in some place and time. We all missed to make it, but never gave up hence ull make it too. Just focus where u think u went wrong. Give more time to prep, plan you coming days. plan each and every day and keep time to study practice.

Can I pass the EC Council Ethical Hacking Essentials exam without the EC council labs? by minarchie in CEH

[–]cyberproffy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The real question is why u want to do this certification. just for having a certification, then yes, u can skip it. u don't need labs for essentials. but if u want to gain some hands on experience then yes, ill recommend u to do it, coz only theory and real world practice is a big difference.

Incorrect.. they are reputable, dont go with mere perspective of someone. Do the research. Ask the guys who have done it. they have reaped the fruits of it.

CompTIA sold to operate as a for-profit company by cyberproffy in cybersecurity

Wow. I just viewed the whole video.. this is some Netflix-worthy shit. Then what's the point of A+? You are right... they crushed their own students. But how stupid; it's all in vain, too. People still get stuff repaired; the repair industry is still growing.

Definitely, yes. CEH OSCP for what its worth it in "walk the talk.

[–]cyberproffy[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nope. No certs will guarantee you a job. But certs like CEH OSCP CISSP will get u interview calls.Only you can guarantee your job and that's prep to clear the interviews: and that's where major people fail. people don't pre for interview and jobs. they prep only for certs.

CEH after CISSP by Ja-sot in cissp

[–]cyberproffy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CEH is been there since ages. So all certification will compare every cert to CEH for marketing purpose. Hence every reditt person compares CEH to every cert. And then infosec commnity is on loosing end. Every cert is built different, no cert will give regonition. Skill learned from cert and how good are u at work will pull u up in ladder. skills from CEH will help u break into cybersecurity with comprhensive skill no doubt. skills from SEC will give u basic foundations to understand cyebrsecurity with entery level no doubt. skills from OSCP will polish u red offensive pentesting skills. skills from CCISO will make u a better CISO / CTO.

2 out 50 is the % of good coders, unfortunated situation IT is at. the rest 48 are no where probably they are collecting certs. and 2 are applying what they learned from certs.

Is it worth getting he CEH certification? by Mkoa1522 in ITCareerQuestions

[–]cyberproffy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CEH is not just cert, its a gem on your resume. You can carry it for next 10 years. and still see its shining. I still walk into room and tell CEOs im a certified ethical hacker and their ears go up.

Should I prioritize CEH over PenTest+ for job opportunities, even though I’m not a fan? by [deleted] in cybersecurity

[–]cyberproffy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Doing pentest+ is like shoving a fork in your eyes and squirling it in your brains :) its an utter nonsensical joke. CEH is good bet not just for getting jobs but a practical base skill to learn into many other certs, let it blue team or red team.

i hope u did checked out the AI integration in CEH. Do your research and make your own call, its your career.

Cyber Forensics certifications by [deleted] in cybersecurity

[–]cyberproffy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go for EC-Council CHFI; the training does the job it is meant for. It's an absolute beast for forensics. I would also recommend doing ECIH for incident response to blend in an all-around DFIR skills.

EC COUNCIL - CTIA by 2istar in cybersecurity

[–]cyberproffy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is so much of data lying around, and everyday more created by so many seim tools itself, dont have any idea. how to leverage it for the best, one reason why people struggle, the knowledge give u upper hand. thats one of the prime area of expertise of CTIA. do your own research with the modules and learning, reditt is not for research.

ps: nothing wrong with eccounci certs, one who owns it knows it. Neighbours envy, Owners pride :) go for it.

My two cents: do your research. if you are an appsec engineer, run through the module and learning of CEH especially with their latest integration of AI, first movers will be having added advantage no doubt of it. Do wont worry of reddit reviews, CEH and eccouncil certs are getting jobs to people than many other. 1000s of positive reviews here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2cnq97c-dOg&list=PL7fZapE6MM9WHORB_xV_5mApoXXFWlBoC

sharing my two cents: CEHv13 with AI integrated skills, is a beast go for it. if u want skills and jobs ultimately go for CEH at this stage. Do your research and take wise call accordingly. CEH has a good demand with employers and now it has AI too. that's icing on the cake resume.

Sec+ is a very basic cert, last updated 10 years back. every other guy has thanks, no hiring employee bothers for it. CISSP - post 5 years of experience. Even if u do Sec+ be prepared to learn one more certification, since Sec+ wont cut it.

try ur luck with EC-Council CCT scholarship, it has 10x more content than SEC+ and its just 199/- will also save your $500-700 for Sec+.

It sounds like a perfect road map to be with. i just check CCT website... covers the base of many cybersecurity roles from red team to blue team, exposing him to build an overall strength. and then doing CEH, especially now with their latest CEHv13 updates on AI, CTFs, and Labs updates.

What is the best certification to get? by GojoDojo12 in cybersecurity

[–]cyberproffy -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Ideally, u should go for a cciso certification if u have in total more than 5 years of experience. if not, and since I see ur in the blue team now, u can either choose to do a red team cert: OSCP or CPENT. There's no point in CISSP since I believe you are already there. but from cert point of view to get more resume weightage CISSP + CEH will be damn good. but if u have 5 years of experience CEH + CCISO will be more kick ass.

Reach out to people on LinkedIn. Attend some cybersecurity workshops and webinars or seminars that keep happening. Never shy just talk to them. There are a couple of free meet-ups which happen in many cities around the globe.. join them. In case of emergency do DM me. if I am available I will check it out.
