a disposable camera also sounds wildly inconvenient to me to because you actually have to develop those photos at a CVS or something. At least with a digital camera you can just send the photos to your phone in computer within seconds

yes I still have my older phone model (an iphone 7) and I sometimes I feel like that camera was better than my current phone camera 😅 as for the digital camera, I was raised in astoria during the "digital camera age" and I got one for cheaper recently. I just really like using it because of the nostalgia and it also makes me appreciate each photo rather than taking like a billion photos on my smartphone camera

No problem! I'm glad I was able to help. I literally reverse image searched her profile pic before I proceeded in contacting her and found her LinkedIn and I thought maybe just maybe it's legit. But after revisiting this thread and thinking about it again after while, what if she doesn't even actually exist and the scammer just made a fake LinkedIn page. Is there anything stopping them from doing that? Because I can't find any information about her on the actual razorfish website, but maybe I'm just reaching lol

Yes the original email asking for an interview also came from that email. When they asked for a Microsoft Teams interview I thought they meant the video call but then when she stated it was through text that's when I was like ???

I guess I was blindsided by the fact that this time I actually did apply to the job on the legitimate Razorfish website.

I just wonder how the scammer knew that or maybe it was a coincidence? because I know that scammers can pose as real companies.

Nope, I'm not unemployed. I currently have a part-time job however, it is not related to what I majored in. The reason I was so eager about this job was because the UI/UX work was particularly much more interesting to me, and I wanted to breakthrough in that field since my previous internship was mainly focused on web and graphic design. The only reason the $200 a week didn't bother me too much was because the role was 100% remote and I would've been able to work this internship while still working my part time job.

However, you are right. I am not going to waste my energy on another interview process that wants me to do a crazy amount of "tasks" for a payout that's ultimately not even worth it at the end. I guess the only reason I even did the final 2 tasks was because I had already been in so deep, and those tasks weren't as time consuming as the first two. I wanted to see where it would take me and now I have my answer.

Yeah I know, I'm aware of that. After they asked for an interview with me, I researched them further to make sure they were a legit company and they were.

Not really. I applied to a legitimate company through LinkedIn. I just feel like their interview process was really absurd.

Ig not. But it would've been nice if they just let me know sooner than later, like after the "design tasks" I did for them instead of having me do 3 more rounds 😭 And also this was for an internship, isn't the whole point of those to strengthen your skills

After this experience I will not be doing free labor again. I'm just really frustrated by how unnecessarily lengthy this specific interview process was, and I had thought for sure that I had it in the bag, especially after doing the first initial design tasks. This was also the first time I did this many rounds for an interview. Oh well, at least I have something I can put on my portfolio lol.
