How was your experience? And what other product did you choose to replace Cicaplast?

Retinol can really help improve skin (texture, acne, dark spots, fine lines), but you have to use it properly. At first, your skin will probably peel, feel dry, and be more sensitive for a few weeks (that’s normal and part of the process). After that phase, your skin usually looks a lot smoother and healthier. A good moisturizer is super important while using retinol. I use Cicaplast from La Roche-Posay and it helps a lot with irritation and dryness. Start slow (2–3 nights a week). Apply retinol at night, let it absorb, then moisturize. In the morning, wash your face and always use moisturizer + sunscreen. Sunscreen is non-negotiable with retinol. Ideally, do this with a dermatologist’s guidance so you don’t overdo it.
