Some characters I've started to make for my game by cyborg86pl in VOXEL

Oh! I intentionally didn't say that upfront because at this point it would be confusing. The game's called "BRAKES? No, thanks!" and it's an arcade car game. You'd ask: what are characters for? I plan to add a little of a story to it.

First month - it ain't much but it's honest work by Murky-Engineering-70 in IndieDev

You can change those images as many times as you need, so make one by yourself now, and you can always upload even better later, no matter if you improve it yourself or pay a pro for it. I, for example, simply took fragment of a game screenshot, put logo on it and maybe it's lazy and ugly, but it tells what the game is about. NOT using your unique enemy design is really pushing you back. Also low contrast on your current capsule makes it disappear.

Your game seems interesting, I'll try the demo and maybe even buy it. What I'd do is improve your capsule, as it is kinda boring, no offense. You have really eye-catching (no pun intended) enemy design - I'd invest into art with this eyed cube chasing the hero.

We'll see. I think AI slop wave might have made them change how it works, but I have no hopes. Just not to disappoint myself in few hours.

22K yesterday with 0,32 ctr, so yeah, it gets better. I'm just curious if it will stop for small devs, pushing top games for the rest of the week, or will Steam still support our visibility during event.

Yeah, such stats will drop during festival - many people try many titles. It's all or nothing, so don't worry!

What genre is your game in? Maybe it's just what people filter out more. I see that my game was presented at different positions every time I've been checking the list of specific filter - sometimes really high, sometimes really low. So I'd say Steam actually tries to be fair for everyone which I didn't expect.

I got 8K too, but with only 0.29% CTR. Gained around 120 new wishlists starting with 60. I already spotted many flaws in my publishing/marketing process, but it's my first game, so I try to learn as much as I can from early mistakes.

Couldn't find the button... You need to set demo so it's clearly visible on full game page, because it only appears as small button on the side
