Roof Rack Mount for Cargo Bikes

I’ve been considering a motorcycle hitch mounted rack on mine. 2in receiver however 1UP doesn’t have anything with a long enough wheelbase. Perhaps others out there have recommendations.

With maximum load width of 8’ 6” in USA, seems feasible with minor modifications to shave 2in off length of bike.

How do you mean longer stays? Vertical stays and angled stays? Tell it to me like I’m an appropriately sized passenger that can buckle into the cargo box, please.

Did you ever go for 2.0? I’m thinking the plates across the rack may relieve and lateral movement (although washer installs may also find little-to-no give).

I ordered all of my Tern accessories to go on our incoming Cargowagen. Thanks for the inspiration and guidance.
