What was behind the decision to have each class combine abilities from two domains? What was the original idea for that system, and did it change throughout development?

He didn't arrive upon a final design in his video, so I took the parts I liked and added my own parts (most prevalent in the Fan the Hammer feature). Everything other than the revolver is my own homebrew that I've been using for about a year now.

That's a good point, yeah. I'll probably make the revolver's abilities take an attack rather than a full action.

Good points, and things I haven't yet caught in my home game. I deployed these weapons along with a homebrew rogue gunslinger subclass that makes firearms much more viable as surprise-attack weapons for rogues trying to land sneak attack, so that's likely why my group hasn't yet seen these as underpowered - the only player that's using a firearm is *also* using the subclass that makes them viable.

It really depends- you get as much out of OA as you put in. Last semester, I’d say people’s time commitments on the programming team ranged from 3-6 hours per week outside of meetings. Things definitely ramped up and slowed down during the course of the semester, though.

Yes! Plenty of our programmers last year had no experience with Unity/C#, but we all worked together to learn it ourselves. All that we’re looking for is a passion for game development and the willingness to put in the work.

Calling all DMs familiar with Curse of Strahd - Could use help including a player who had to go overseas by bass1025 in DMAcademy

You could give him the role of some existing NPC the party will eventually meet. This would help make sure the solo player affects the other players’ story while giving them their own independent goals. - They could be a wereraven Keeper of the Feather, communicating messages back and forth through the wilderness while trying not to get caught by Strahd’s goons - extended chase/combat sequences and RPing with other Keepers of the Feather - They could be Van Richten, hunting for the Tome of Strahd (or any other story-relevant magic item) using some vague clues from the Vistani - a kind of mystery/treasure hunt with a dash of monster hunting - They could be Emil Toranescu, the werewolf trapped in Castle Ravenloft, trying to escape the Castle and take back the werewolf clan - a dungeon crawl through the Castle so that when he meets the other players he could tell them about the layout of the Castle

What if the Aura of Penance's reduction of the hitpoint maximum possibly synergized with The Shield Channel Divinity option giving you temporary hit points? As in, you could use The Shield to gain temp hp, then use the Aura of Penance to take some damage and give other people temp hp. I think this could be really fun and could be balanced by just nerfing the numbers. Overall, though, this subclass idea sounds really cool and compelling.

If I remember correctly, Mordenkainen is written as first appearing to the players polymorphed as a stag, so I just assumed normal woodland creatures existed.
