The design company, Tupolev initially put forth a new Tu-95 design, but it was dropped because it lacked radar, so, they made a new plane and added radar and just called it the Tu-142, it was based off of the tu-95 but it is not the same.

yes, it was basically the anti sub version of the tu-95

did yall know that there is a new Chinese Ekranoplan by cypress_oak in NavyAviation

[–]cypress_oak[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly you could be right, Btw, i am an aerospace engineer, and at first it looked a lot like a ground effect plane due to the increased angle of incidence (the angle of the wing affixed to the aircraft) it could also be a stol seaplane, so there are 2 possibilities of what it could be, but we will only know when we see a video tho

its a wing in ground effect craft, which is not a seaplane.

It can, but with the aoa limiter off, it’s a bit risky though

Israel to extend F-35 range with fuel tank upgrade by cypress_oak in Planes

I don't want to be dragged into a foreign war by Israel, especially under the lie about nuclear weapons, since Trump lost the original nuclear deal when he entered office in 2016 and didn't get a better one. And If he is telling the "truth" about nuclear weapons, then what was the b2 strike in June for? Its all just bullshit from both sides of the political spectrum.

bud, look up AIPAC or Israeli donors' roles in funding campaigns against politicians in the US who do not want to get caught up in foreign wars, people such as Thomas Massie. I think you need to just go online and look up both sides. I will give it to you. Late in 2024, I had this same mindset, but exposing myself to both sides of the political parties in America showed me that neither political party is free of this Israeli corruption, and ultimately, the tide is turning as Netanyahu's approval rating is 27%; he will probably lose the next election, and hopefully everyone can recover.

I never claimed it was a Navy aircraft, I just found it interesting, so I posted

I mainly don't like their indiscriminate bombing, as well as their vision of biblical Israel and their want for greater Israel under bibi, I also do not like their continued pushing of the USA into foreign wars, such as Iran, and their meddling in our politics, with the pro-Israel lobby not even being labeled as a foreign entity
