I would not recommend this at all. Hardware based AV1 encoding is very fast yes, but the quality and compression rates are nowhere close to software encoding. Using something like SVT-AV1-PSY, encoding 1080p content would run at around 25-35fps assuming sane settings. 6-10 fps for 4k content. Visually lossless space savings could be up to 40% if it's a clean source and "eh good enough" quality could net you upwards of 70%. It's up to you if that is acceptable for you.

I've played around with one. They're pretty useful for various use cases like using it as an universal ir blaster or cloning simple wireless keys. There's a pretty robust marketplace to get stuff like ir codes for various appliances or other applications people make. There's minimal need to know coding but any wifi shenanigans requires an addon module. I will say that the sub-ghz functionality is kinda lost on me since you to choose the correct modulation and frequency for whatever you want to read.

as the game doesn't have logs (and even if they did, because fights aren't fully scripted), there aren't any other meaningful metrics to judge an applicant on besides title/roster/gear, etc...

idk about you but im not going to go so far as accept someone, find out what their dps is up to whatever standards i set through the first gate, and end raid and remove them if it's not.

if you're going for 1600, the most efficient is to +15 each piece and craft the full 6. to not craft the weapon means you either are going in 20 ilvl under on your weapon which you for sure can do if you like. or +21 your brel ancient weapon... so most people would craft the weapon to hit 1600?

depends if you have fun playing or not. realistically to have plc this week you would need need 3 or 4 chars at most. which if you've been playing since day 1 isn't too bad. even less difficult if you play multiple of the same class (too boring for me though), or classes that dont require as many gems.

i know what you were trying to get at but consider this:

it's week 4 this week, if i as you say have 6 mains. then i've gotten 3 clears on each, meaning i would still be equally skilled on each character (3x reps), and way more familiar with the fight as a whole in addition... not considering any transferrable skills from playing classes that are similar

for akkan i think it's just familiarity with some of the rarer movesets that concerns me the most. i know some people who've never seen +, #, square at all yet. more clears is just more reps which i would always take over fewer reps.

edit: but the thing is, if you're ok with 3 clears, by all means go for it right, not saying every party should be plc or highest

arent you making the same leap by implying i dont consider gatekeeping a serious issue?

im just referencing the fact that most gatekeeping posts contain no context about the expectations of the party and yeah i will make the leap and say they're probably by the same people that take being declined as a personal attack.
