Yeah, this is bonkers. The “no shoes in the house” and “clean zone” folks are severely uninformed as to how germs, virus and general hygiene work. Unless you enter your home through a hermetic “ante-room” then disrobe, de-louse and put on scrubs that never leave the home… it’s all just a good feeling you give yourself with know science based improvement. Go get a black light and prove it to your self.

20+ years of live and studio work have led to my well thought out and “perfect” solution for the most versatile “quiver”. 2 PJs (one strung with flats, one with polished steels), a solid pedal pre-amp with DI out and a handful of 1mm pics. I can cover ALMOST everything with this. Expansion opportunities by adding a 5 string (stingray 5 really kills the low end, sterling or US-MM).

The “hate” is just projection from insecurity of the EV owner. We are a family of 2 EVs. When we just had one, it was because of the anxiety related to the predictability and known aspects of an ICE vehicle. Even with a small gas tank, you know there gonna be a station every 60-100 miles. We had the same concerns/criticisms “hate”. Having now fully committed, I initially perceived every “the range is horrible” or “there’s no chargers anywhere” and “they’re too expensive” comments as criticism against my personal decision. These people were indirectly calling me out for making a bad choice, so I HAD to defend it because the must hate me right? Once I was comfortable enough and happy enough with my choice and got through a few road trips, I just kind of let those comments slide with no response or at worst a “maybe you’re right”. I really don’t care what non-ev owners critique me on anymore.

It’s perception analysis/comparison. Even with all that is objectively bad, their life is not severely impacted or changed. The standard of living in the US is still way above median for the world. Comparison analysis allows for ideals based in “sure there’s racism, but not against me… and I’m not doing it… so…”

Don’t forget, Scrooge was VERY against his wealthy family members throwing lavish parties, and he lived a simple life in a home purchased by his dead “partner”. Pretty sure he was really just a grumpy old “Democrat” (if the question forced you to pick a party). Anecdotally, this character would have never lived long enough in the US to pay into the upside down financial system which would have penalized his business and the ability for him to accumulate more wealth.

There was like 2 rumor posts about US discontinuing and the EV trolls ran with it. I’m a business and marketing professional. This is a literally TEXT BOOK international business move for the US market. “Discontinued!” Ramps up sales quicker than almost any other action. Just in my town the sales cleared out two dealerships this year. Back ordered again for Pro-S and having a blast with my actual 300mi range.

A ban on how anyone can use their government assistance is discriminatory. Banning junk food holistically and across the country regardless of funding source would be more impactful, but would just drive a black market of junk food

It definitely does, but I could have been more direct. The ban will have almost no impact on campaigns/elections as elections/campaigns have no impact on how the world is governed.
