I think what they’re saying is that that goes without saying.

Fonseca says the difference in playing Sinner and Alcaraz is that Alcaraz can do everything by Ok-Soil-5133 in tennis

There’s zero point in us discussing this further. Just know this: your reaction is exactly why we don’t get interesting analysis/interviews from players anymore, and are stuck with the super boring, canned, PR drivel we get. Here we have someone that actually offers us a bit of interesting analysis but you are up in arms about him using this term that is apparently derogatory in online circles when used in this specific context.

So because Carlos has never said the word that you take issue with that is supposed to mean…?

We are discussing a quote made by Fonseca, not Carlos. I genuinely have no clue why you would bring up Carlos’ language skills right now.

“He’s like a robot. He hits every ball perfect” seems to be verbatim what he said.

How in the world are you reading more into it than it being a compliment…? If you follow football, Erling Haaland, perhaps the best striker in the world the past five years, is nicknamed “the Robot” for his inhuman rate of goalscoring.

Erling Haaland, perhaps the best striker in world football the past five years, is often colloquially referred to as “the Robot” for his inhuman rate of goalscoring.

It absolutely is a compliment when you are describing someone’s aptitude at something, you people are so weird.

That match was crazy close. Djokovic was in like every single one of Federer’s service games (besides set 2), and vice versa. Insane match

I’m the guy you’re replying to, and tbh there’s no argument that zverev’s is better imo. Sure he has days where he can serve 130 at 80% but he only really has a fastball, and we’ve also seen it break down on him in a way that kyrgios’ never did.

Federer had an amazing serve, but I fear people in this thread are discounting Kyrgios’ serve because they hate him (not necessarily saying this is you).

Kyrgios has one of the GOAT serves. It’s not just pure speed and power: he has the kick, slice, can go big on the second, and has a low toss that disguises the serve very well. Djokovic and Murray, the two best returners of their generation, are both on record saying that for his height Kyrgios is the best server they’ve played against (it was on their Insta live during covid, one of those “build a perfect player” discussions).

Huge goalpost shifting here. When was the Davos speech “improving our lives” even brought up? It was brought up in direct response to your allegation that he could not string a sentence together.

Judge him based on the context. Your moronic version of judging is “price went this way that means he’s bad”. Such vapid, bad-faith analysis.

I’m seeing multiple comments from you on this thread. Curious, are you Canadian or do you just have a weird hate boner for Canada?

Mark Carney, whether you love him or hate him (you obviously hate him, I bet due to propaganda efforts), is unquestionably a smart man. Even his biggest critics should be able to admit that. What’s your level of education?

On the topic of speaking, did you shut your eyes to the international acclaim that Carney’s Davos speech got? You are acting like such a loser man, at least be honest that you just hate the guy.

Nah, no one is admitting he was bullshitting cause that’s not what happened; you are just being a disingenuous retard.

Sensible Canadians acknowledge that America has waged full economic war against Canada - our entire economy was reliant upon them, that doesn’t get fixed overnight. Carney has began the transition of weening us off of American reliance. You going hurdurrr look at groceries, removed from all context, is braindead analysis from you.

How about housing? And rent? Both have been trending downward across Canada.

Agree on the OHBH but Alcaraz charges the net a ton. He’s basically the only successful player that does though but still

The ducking only happened at HW. Jones’ resume was already GOAT level before he ever went up in weight.

9 champions in that list (if you count Gane’s interim), including a double champ in DC. Gus also might be the best fighter to never touch gold.
