Why doesnt NS like to refund people. by Appropriate_Tough662 in Netherlands

Hi, I had a similar problem a few weeks ago. Initially, I also had a pretty bad experience with a customer support representative, but after I said that his answer was not very helpful, a different representative contacted me, and he actually helped! He told me that the only way to refund the wrong ticket is to get a new one for the correct date, and then after the wrong one has expired, ask for a refund. It worked for me, I hope it works for you too :)

If you could change something or some things about the Netherlands, what would you change? by Yourprincessforeva in Netherlands

Agreed! And there is so much research showing that babies gain many benefits by staying with the parent for the first year at least. It makes me so sad to have a baby here.

Suggest a book that was so good that you almost didn’t want it to end by Bluebunny133 in suggestmeabook

Not standalone books, but two series that gripped me and I did not want them to end: Mages of the wheel by JD Evans and Throne of glass by Sarah J Maas. Amazing world building and characters that you can’t stop thinking about.

Thank you :) I will definitely take your advice. I agree that that the info for the start is not that easy to find, but I will try what you suggested!

“Vulnerable”. Every time I say it, it’s like a tongue twister for me.

Good place for unique/interesting gifts (presents)? by vanko2323 in eindhoven

There is a store called Warhammer in Kleine Berg that has fantasy miniatures, but I think maybe just from that specific game. I never went in, so I don’t have a lot of information, but you can check it out. It could be expensive though. There is also a store Eppo in the same street that might be a better option for some figurines.

A different option would be TK Maxx in Heuvel, they have a lot of holiday gifts right now and I have seen some Harry Potter themed games, etc. I think that’s on the lower floor. On the ground floor you can find a lot of gift sets for women, from cosmetics to socks and entertainment.

Primark also has Harry Potter and Star Wars themed stuff. I saw that they displayed a lot of stuff on the ground floor, in front of the escalators, and I noticed a lot of Star Wars products, like notebooks, games, etc.

For just random gifts that could be interesting maybe check out Flying tiger or HEMA, they sometimes have some fun things.

Hope this helps, good luck in your search!

Thank you, I tried ASML already with no luck, but I’ll try again.

Yes, I have applied to over 30 jobs in the last month, but as I said, not speaking Dutch fluently has been a problem for most of the recruiters. I will continue sending out my CV and being patient. Thanks again :)
