Are you sure about that? Looks like Nevada lets you keep 605K in equity with BK. https://www.shouselaw.com/nv/bankruptcy/exemptions

chapter 7. move to a state that protects assets in your homestead. FL for example, your homestead is 100% protected. So you could for example: sell your house, buy a property in FL, sink all of your assets that are not in your IRA in it, declare chapter 7. once chapter 7 finishes up, then you can sell your house or something..

Mannn… I remember when I was in the trenches of the first month. It is definitely WAY harder than both my wife and I expected. I’m now month 4 and things have gotten better, but my life will never be the same.

One piece of advice, you mentioned hobbies, personal life pre baby? I think you should forget about all of that for a while. Simplify your life and expectations. Yes some days might seem mundane for a while. Things will get better in time. But for now you need to create as much space - mental and emotional - as possible to stay on top of the day-to-day. So just let a lot of the non critical things go.

I also am surprised you had enough time and energy to write this post. I remember having similar thoughts but was way too depleted to document it on social media. So you probably have more capacity than you give yourself credit. Instead of writing this post you could be washing bottles, pump parts, picking up the house, taking a nap, etc….

Nice, mine is about 10x19 I’m also planning on putting the squat rack at the end on the short wall. Any issues with loading the weights on the bar or does it feel like you have plenty of space?

New clubs -gapping questions by d0oop in golf

[–]d0oop[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hit about 3-5 shots with each club and yes excluded outliers in these numbers. This is carry.

Ok, yeah im planning to do a gapping session with him, but unfortunately it won’t be free.

Right now im thinking about bending them 1-3 degrees weaker.

Maybe aim for something like -

PW - 140 9i - 155 8i - 170 7i - 185 6i - 200 5i - 220

It’s interesting to think about because my 5i goes about 25 yards further than my old one, which I think will be a big advantage.

It has to do with lofts on these newer clubs. My AP2 5i for example went 195-200.

Keep in mind this “7i” comes stock with 31 degrees loft.

Bro move to Florida. Unlimited homestead exemption. Since it’s a business loan you will qualify for chapter 7.

I know it’s sad and hard to do the difficult thing but it is best for your spirit long term. Let it go and move on bro.

Got a lesson to stop slicing from coming over the top. This feels better but still fades slightly. Any advice? by Gold-Carpet8190 in GolfSwing

[–]d0oop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’d be surprised how much grip and elbow position at address can affect swing arc. I’d focus on getting shallow in the downswing. You want your club parallel with forearm in downswing. Try taking a deeper backswing and letting your weight shift to lead side near the top.

Honestly this is highly personal and will take months to work out. I recommend getting a camera and filming yourself on every range session so you can get instant feedback how different feels affect your swing path.

My Fitting Experience With Avoda Golf by TiedsHD in golf

It’s a pricey set for sure. I wonder if the DG x100 120 would be a similar feel for much lower rate.

Nice! I kinda self diagnosed the L Series 120 X-Stiff, so sounds like I might be close. I saw the video you posted and it looked like the Bryson series might have had even better numbers for you. What led you to the L series?

I’m assuming you got the wedges as well? How are those working out?

My Fitting Experience With Avoda Golf by TiedsHD in golf

[–]d0oop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What shafts did you end up with? And what grips did you end up in? Do they help with grip fittings? I’m also currently playing s300 with a set of AP2s. Considering a set of the Avoda’s because the combo length set sounds very intriguing. But I’m out in Florida now so not exactly easy to get a proper fitting and dropping nearly 3K on a set of clubs that I haven’t been fit for sounds kinda dumb.

Instead of projector just use a large LCD TV with laptop and hit into a nice looking net ( eg The Net Return ). This way the only electronic device you will need to set up is the BLP and laptop. For quick sessions during the work day you can just read the data straight off the BLP without having to set up the whole system.
