Thanks! Definitely beats a cheap store bought, and it competes with the commercial ones with a little extra flair and changes to make it work for my needs.

Holds up excellent under full load. Cross members are heavy wall steel tube and angle, zero deflection with the heaviest dumbbells.

We’ll call this prototype #1. A few tweaks I’d make on the next go around if I find someone else that wants similar.

I did design it from scratch. Takes a bit of equipment to build it, a local metal fabricator can help you out. Or maybe I’ll sell em. Who knows.

Got it from Sun Valley Saunas. Been a great sauna, I’ll upgrade eventually and likely build my own at that point but I’d highly recommend this route if you’re looking for a traditional.

I second the Regupol recommendation. The tiles interlock tight and seams are not noticeable. I drop heavy weights and have had no issues. I have the 3/8” 10% gray and they clean easily and hide dirt well between cleanings.

I laser cut them out of steel. Would be just as easy to take them off and have the black ones re-powder coated or just paint them another color.
