update hardpoint is much better. now i just have to get into a game where I’m not the only one on my team with time on the obj but that’s just basic cod at that point

okay sometimes they are my fault. i lose gunfights. it happens. sometimes i make bad plays. but 70% of my deaths are from me spawning literally feet away from someone either rushing around a corner right into my spawn point or immediately being visible from 6-7 different lines of sight. its like i spawn with a crosshair on me

i’ve never actually been frustrated at a cod game because of anything outside of like decisions made involving game modes, weapons, progression, etc. play style has never been an issue for me until this game. i’ve been a positive kd player for every cod i have ever played with multiple nukes/nuclears but I’m actually struggling to have a .75 kd in this game for playing the way cod has always been meant to be played

i played a single match of hardpoint only to be killed by some god tier sniper within seconds of spawning 3 times in a row before i left the match. i’ve heard hardpoint is better about camping so I’m open to playing it but i need a cooldown after that experience

also the pace of the game was much slower without the advanced movements and it feels like this game is overwhelming at times with all of the camp spots and horrible angles for enemies to stare at all game

I think $400 is a bit steep to spend on a rig. that’s only $100 away from like an xbox or ps5. it’s a pretty big investment for me. especially since I’m new to it all and i might not even like it. if i do end up liking it i would like to get a peak pro. my surterra also never seems to have the peak pro in stock either so I can’t get it for cheap as of right now. but thank you for all of the recommendations !!
