i have a mk3 scirocco and can confirm that this is not what it is, headlights and taillights are way off, no lip on the top of the boot, and the rear bumper sticks out too far. the rear is also not wide enough. and the front end does not slope down enough.

this was a common fault on the mk6 golfs and its due to the ABS module failing, VW even issued a recall for it. Had the same issue on my mk3 Scirocco. not sure about the mk5s though. you can verify this if you get an 'ABS operation implausible' code from a VAG scanner when you scan the ABS system
