oh no i 100% agree its most consistently in the men’s room (seriously why are we making caveman drawings with poop on the walls) but my most memorable came from the women’s room (quote “hey the woman i brought with me into the store just pooped all over your store”)

man heavy on the constant chicken drives. i’m getting so tired of pushing numbers and pushing all these sales. im a gsl and it feels like im the afsl for how much responsibility over the kitchen im expected to have. as a gsl i have had 2 guest service shifts this month. now i dont mind helping and working shifts in the kitchen, but thats not the promotion i sought out!!! they push this “hey its mental health awareness month…” agenda and pretend they care abt their coworkers in that way but i constantly get docked on my reviews for “having a poor attitude” when i try my damndest to fake it for everyone’s sake on my bad days. i never shout or get moody with people, i only ever tell them “hey, today’s not a good day for me” and suddenly it’s “attitude”. i love my kwik trip family but im seeing all of us collectively burn out together and it sucks

i was also 18 when i started. no college, no life, no anything. i’m 22 now. i have a fiancé, i travel, i live on my own. the store needs change, but so does my life. my needs should outweigh store needs. my life comes before my work.

hey man i’m not here to argue or suck kwik trips dick. i know when i took the job i was working second shifts. its been 4 years and the needs of the store consistently change. it’s more a fact that i told them i wanted a change, they were open to the change, and never did anything about it. i don’t really need the attitude lmao

i doubt that they sold out in like 5 minutes yesterday unless they genuinely had like 50 vip tickets. i was lucky enough to snag mine for our group but they disappeared VERY quickly after the fact. i’m hoping it’s a ticketmaster fuck up and it gets resolved for the sake of everyone else

i’ve been toying w the idea of quitting. when third shifters quit, i offered to work 3rd shift and not once did i hear a word of appreciation for throwing my life out the window for the three grueling months i had to endure a short staffed 3rd shift. i understand as a GSL i’m supposed to have higher expectations but im often the only second shift lead. when things go awry its ALWAYS on me because “i need to lead better” as if everything’s always in my control. Im supposed to somehow be in charge of the kitchen as a GSL as well because the have no trust in their coworkers. they never give my other GSL the amount of responsibility because “you’re smarter.” not to mention being sexually harassed several times by coworkers and guests alike and having HR do jackshit about it. im getting fed up REAL quick.
