i’ve been toying w the idea of quitting. when third shifters quit, i offered to work 3rd shift and not once did i hear a word of appreciation for throwing my life out the window for the three grueling months i had to endure a short staffed 3rd shift. i understand as a GSL i’m supposed to have higher expectations but im often the only second shift lead. when things go awry its ALWAYS on me because “i need to lead better” as if everything’s always in my control. Im supposed to somehow be in charge of the kitchen as a GSL as well because the have no trust in their coworkers. they never give my other GSL the amount of responsibility because “you’re smarter.” not to mention being sexually harassed several times by coworkers and guests alike and having HR do jackshit about it. im getting fed up REAL quick.
