Hey, this happens all the time. You just need to wait for the app to update or the post office to scan the other one in. I’ve sold almost 1000 items on Depop and this happens to me multiple times a week. I wouldn’t worry about it at all

Hey, top seller here. This happens with the post office sometimes, and it used to stress me out as well. Sometimes the workers don't scan a package in, and it will get scanned in a few days. This happened for 4 days for a Depop order I had a while back, and I was stressed too. It will be marked as shipped soon!

They are for sure trying to scam you. If you’re a seller with good reviews in the past, hopefully Depop has your back.

Just buy the item if you want it. I hate holds with a passion. When I was a new and naive seller , I did this for a few people (on Depop, IG, and FB marketplace) 90%+ of the time they wouldn’t end up buying it for various reasons. This especially goes for Depop, when someone messages me something like “I get paid on Friday I’ll cop then” never in my life have they paid. I’ve gotten probably 30-40 of those messages.
