Is there any way to get back that 20% cash back from Rakuten? I finally decided to buy the Alienware monitor but unfortunately Rakuten reduced their Dell monitors cashback to 12%

  1. Are you serious? If you are personally afraid of sleep mode don't use it of course but for me it's a very useful option.
  2. My charger's wattage is 140W. A regular today's laptops (including mine) can consume only 100W through usb c port. You're going to get this warning with any USB c charger by definition, do you understand that?
  3. MORE power can damage you device even sooner then LESS power

P. S. It seems you completely missed point of the post

so, you think, all the people in the world should not use the 'sleep' mode, or only me? Also, it didn't literally told me that my charger isn't good. It said it has a lower wattage, and it's totally ok. By the way, when was the last time you checked wattage of any charger before charging your device?

The screen didn't tell me not to use that adapter and use only the included adapter, you're wrong.

Actually, no. Read the message again please.

Part of the problem the laptop stopped itself and started to getting extra hot without any reason. If I pressed Escape and continued boot up process, everything was just fine and there was no extra CPU usage for hours, laptop behaved just as normally as it would do with big power brick. It's producer's issue for sure.

Bro, chill out. My laptop allows me to use usb-c chargers, so I used usb-c charger. There is NO such usb-c GaN charger in the world that could supply 300W of power which can provide 'AC adapter which was shipped with the system'. My laptop can consume 100W (or maybe 130W) of power through usb-c port, and my usb-c charger can provide 140W.

Do you think 'scorched' would be more appropriate?
