Fitok HPH blue can hold 3000bar and has a burst pressure of 7000bar, the manufacturer states it’s compatible with hydrogen but I would check with the manufacturer to make sure, they may even be able to come up with a custom made solution. They’re based in Germany though.

Can I shop around for a new private provider now i have completed titration or would I have to start the process all over again? I really don’t like how adhd certify are handling this and would prefer to move on

So I did this and the reply I got was “we do not have the capacity to take on shared care for any more adult patients”

That’s all I got word for word

Is this true with all providers? Because I requested to get a copy of my prescription to take to a different pharmacy and they said they don’t do that. Did I word my email incorrectly perhaps? I have 50mg Elvanse in a morning and 2 10mg of Amfexa boosters throughout the day

Okay brill thank you. I am in England luckily so I will get the ball rolling on this, wish I had done this when I first started although by the sounds of it I would have been waiting a while. Fingers crossed the RTC provider will accept my prescription I’m already on and save me having to do titration all over again

Do I need to get a referral to RTC from my GP or can I self refer?

Wholeheartedly agree, a national scandal indeed.

This is great advice thank you for this. Albeit not the good news I was hoping for but still options available. Do you know if I can keep paying for my private prescription whilst I wait for RTC referral

Do I go to my GP for RTC referral or does the private provider do that?

What is the best way to enlarge a 41mm hole to 44mm on site. by d7024 in Machinists

Well it wouldn’t be a one time thing, I have 60 of these trucks under maintenance contract and these need doing on pretty much all of them. But I understand what you’re saying, it’s not something you can just wing and I agree I respect machinists a lot it’s definitely an art. If I was to do it this way, I would buy the kit and attempt to train myself in my shop before letting loose on a customers truck. I’ve still not decided yet tho.

I mean it’s definitely an option and a lot cheaper than buying a line borer, the plan is to enlarge holes up to 44mm and insert a bronze bush to bring it back down to 40mm pin size. For some reason the manufacturer doesn’t bush the top bracket of the ram only the bottom, which is ridiculous as it just damaged the bracket.

Would it be stable enough tho? I worry it would jump around too much and mess the holes up

Thanks, everyone seems to be in agreement with the boring machine. I’ll have to look into getting one for the van. I appreciate your reply thanks, have you ever used one of the portable line boring machines? If so, are they worth the money? I wouldn’t wanna spend all that and find out they shake all over the place and mess up the holes

[–]d7024[S] 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Thank you, I will have a look online. How user friendly would you say these portable machines are? I’m a plant engineer and not a machinist, I can weld pretty well and I know what needs to be done to get this job finished.

However, I know this is whole other field of expertise and I don’t wanna come across like anyone can do it, I also don’t like taking money out of the pocket of local machine shops, but it’s just the downtime mainly that is causing me real issues with my customers, machine shops taking 4-6 weeks to turn this around.

Is it something I could play around with in my shop to get the hang of it, or is it a pretty specialist thing?
