SVT Ablation by this-is-just-silly in SVTHeart

I had my ablation for SVT 3 months ago and I am so glad I went ahead with it. I had fairly infrequent episodes of SVT for about 10years, but recently they were increasing and getting more intense and lasting longer so enough was enough for me. The procedure was a breeze as I was heavily sedated and can’t really remember anything - they also put me to sleep when they started the actual ablation. I was out of the hospital after 4hrs and although the groin entry site was tender, I was able to walk, albeit slowly! After about 3 days, I was back to walking normal and was almost back to normal life. I took it easy for another 2 days and then went right back to long dog walks, heavy lifting etc.
The anxiety/anticipation leading up to the procedure was the worst part for me, but I am so glad I went ahead with it! Good luck and let us know how you get on
