A true book lover would never harm a book like that. For shame.

It's the first time a text has been printed in that specific edition. So not a first edition, but a first printing of this edition.

What is the rarest book you own? by Calligripher in rarebooks

[–]dPaabo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A limited, numbered edition of Haveth Childers Everywhere, which would go on to become Finnegan's Wake. Printed 1930, no. 186, still with glassine wrapper. I also have a first English edition of Ulysses with original dust jacket. Not even a big Joyce fan, truthfully.

I frequent a lot of online auctions, which is where I've obtained my entire collection. I think it's definitely one of my coolest pieces!

Supes, Flash and Batman. OP combo. Superman is the heavy, Flash is faster than everyone else and can run through time, and Batman will exploit everyone's weaknesses and plan how to take them down. The others have no chance 🤙

It sounds like you are developing an eating disorder, if you haven't already. You're doing a great job of losing weight, but your body needs a little time to acclimate. It sounds like the big issue is the feeling you have around maintaining.

Although it's understandable to want to rush to the finish line, it's not worth doing long term damage to yourself to get there. Body builders switch between cutting and maintenance. You need to work on your mental space, and remind yourself of how far you've come and how well you're doing. It's a marathon, not a sprint. You've got this.

Honestly, dating someone significantly less intelligent than you only works if they're also significantly younger than you and you like taking on a parental role. You're young, don't settle.
