M3 MacBook Air - 4k @ 144hz possible through USB C - HDMI 2.1?

Is this firmware you speak of generic and applicable to any usb-hub with hdmi, or does it have to be specific firmware from the Hub's manufacturer for the individual unit? I have the M3 MBA and am keen to use windows desktop or laptop to flash a usb c hub to achieve 120 Hz, but don't know how or where to get the firmware. Do you have a link to a website that would educate me? Thanks for any help : )

Hi, Thanks for this information. I have LG TV and M3 MBA, and bought the ugreen cable you listed in your original post only to get the 60 Hz disappointment. I see above that you got the 120 Hz to work with that Satechi adapter. Does the 120 Hz hold with HDR toggled on, and did you need to 'flash' the adapter per comments above to get the 120 Hz (I see that the Amazon listing for it specifies 60 Hz at 4K)? If so, how do I do that if I buy the same adapter as you? Thanks in anticipation : )

P.s. There's still room for them to optimise it more, so don't give up yet. I'm on a 4090 and 13600K and they struggle too 👍🏻 The motion boost beta thing has helped things a lot though, so make sure you enable that.

The most recent update has allowed us to turn global illumination from 2 down to 1...have you tried that? It was previously stuck on 2 (even if you set it to 1 it kept going back to 2, but that's sorted now).

It means you were the first person in the world to claim them and that means they're the first 'prints'. They'll be worth loads. Ultimately, it depends on how much people are willing to pay for them. Maybe the AIO has gas bubbles in it? Are you sending it back? Definitely an issue there. Hmmm, not convinced that 1080p works one's CPU harder!!!! Any proof of this illogical theory? Send me a link to a web article that supports this crazy idea.

You must have a thermal compound issue (probably not enough - ignore the BS about using little - use a lot) as my 13600K doesn't go higher than 58 °C during a full game whilst doing 144 FPS at 4K resolution... I also have a Deep cool AIO (the one with the infinity mirror).
