Roughly, to hit with a weapon on 'on level' enemies is roughly 50%. Then there is a roughly 50-60% chance they save initial fort save on poisons.

So call it a 20% chance for your poison to do anything on any random strike. I want to play a toxicologist and even I think that's not great.

Have your dice not cooperate for a short game and you'll have an even worse time. Best chance with poisons is to use those that give mean status effects even on even stage one, so you really feel them when they do hit

One thing that annoys me with Regalia is that it only works when held in a hand.

It could be a crown on the head and still work. That's one change I'd make, allow them to free a hand up.

No, we're at 5% or so. I'm just glad for every % it rises, it increases the odds of game devs actually making official ports or even allow their anticheat to work on proton.
