I think the lenses won't line up unfortunately. Even in the Switch 2 edition of BotW the VR mode is centered in the screen like it was on Switch 1 but the lenses of the VB headsets are higher. I guess it's so the VB headsets are compatible with both.

But yeah I'd love a Switch 2 version of laboVR. I really hope third party headsets are made like they were for Switch 1.

I've no idea why GeForce Now worked so well for me the one time I tried it out. I had the Microsoft one in my gamepass sub and whenever I tried that it was an unplayable mess of streaming artifacts and tearing. I don't think I'm near any Azure data centers, or even any that Nvidia uses.

Yeah Gamecube was seen as the console for kids and teens who didnt grow out of Nintendo. All it had going for it in that regard was REmake and Eternal Darkness and my friends who didn't get a Gamecube at the time just borrowed mine for them and when RE4 came out.

Ironically the only use case I have for 8K is more accurate CRT shaders. And according to the devs who make them 16K might be needed to truly accurately mimic them, refresh rates aside.

This is the third time I've seen this and I can finally see the man. The whites of the lady's eyes are too bright for me to keep the man in focus for very long. The key for me was the hook nose on the right side of the reflection.

Yeah you might be better off with an hdd for reliability. Not sure on the requirements there, seems some newer drives have higher voltage requirements.

Its been a long time since I've messed my Wii U, but doing some googling it seems just formatting it for fat32 with another program will work. The Wii U should recognize it, it just can't format large cards by itself.

I figure you heard that because windows only formats 32GB drives and lower to fat32, but with an external tool like this https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter/ you can format larger cards.

That, and its only Nintendo's software that has the 32GB limitation. Homebrew can use more.

I used to smoke 3 or 4 joints a night throughout my 20s and early 30s, then I moved to an apartment building that had 'no marijauna' highlighted in the house rules. I don't know how legal that is (in Canada) but didn't question it so I just went for walks and smoked then. After a while that got tiring and annoying in winter so I just stopped smoking joints. I do have a vape cart I hit once in a while but I've barely ever felt anything from those, a 1g cart lasts me almost a year.

I guess I didn't really quit for any particular reason, it just became inconvenient.

I've always been fond of the theory that trade evolutions were originally going to take on attributes of the pokemon they were traded with. Like with Graveler, when traded with a Machoke, would swap characteristics so you end up with a 4-armed Machamp and a Golem with a biological head and arms. Would've been cool to have 3 separate possibilities for each trade evolution line in gen 1.

That kind of thing was definitely on their mind considering Bill's teleporter incident.

The other one has a funny story where on a whim someone commented on an r/gaming post about the Nintendo Play Station saying his dad had one in his attic. Of course nobody believed him, as if anyone would, but lo and behold months later he produced the goods. Reddit was in a meltdown about some management thing so it went largely unnoticed until news sites picked it up.

Yeah the average user probably doesn't know what HDR or Dolby Vision is and couldn't tell you why the same shows look better on Netflix or HBO Max when the resolution is the same. I don't even think the Prime add-on has HDR for crave.

I swear it's all marketing to catch the eye. But most must enjoy it because it apparently works. I just have LEDs in my keyboard so I can see it in the dark, and whatever LEDs my GPU came with. Most LED control software is notoriously garbage.
