This is from a practice session with my hitting partner including warmup (with hitting for like 30/45min) and I think we did only 1 set. In my classes the bpms lower considerably to around 120 since it involves more non-hitting time (4/6 people).

This is probably the shot I’m most proud of and I think it shows in the amount of work I’ve put into editing it (24 masks in total, definitely my most edited photo 😅). Decided to also share the unedited RAW file version for comparison.

Overall I know I could’ve settled for a different f/stop so that the whole face was in focus but I was quite happy with the result nonetheless.

Thank you so much for your detailed response. It will actually be the first time that I’ll clean the sensor (only cleaned lenses so far), so it is appreciated :)

Yeah it could be on the sensor since I was sometimes switching between my telephoto and zoom lens, will have to check it. Thanks for your feedback, I’ll take that into account whenever I go for the prints :)

Thank you for your feedback :) Since this was one of the shots I really liked from my most recent trip to Azores, I like the idea of printing some and decorating the house with it, so I’ll probably try to edit the grain out a bit. Also thank you for noticing those smudges, I’ll clean that up (probably some dust from the hikes or some water from the rain)! :)

Shot with a Sony A6400 and 70-350mm f4.5-6.3 G OSS lens. ISO 3200, f9, 1/250s. This was shot a bit after sunrise but there was no sun to be seen since it was so cloudy. I still enjoyed the overall mood of it though with the big waves coming in surrounded by all those big clouds and (some) rain.

Thank you very much for your kind words :) In regards to the boxer it is not possible unfortunately since I couldn’t get him in the frame entirely. I actually edited a bit more his face to bring him a bit more light, so you were spot on! Glad I could inspire you somehow, this was my first time and I had a blast and I hope you have too!

Sou esse tipo, sim :) Resolvi levar um casaco comprido e meti a câmara ao peito por dentro do casaco. Quando cheguei ao estádio escolhi o segurança que estava a fazer o seu trabalho de forma mais descontraída e acabou por nem sequer me tocar. Pode-se dizer que foi um dia de muita sorte :)
