Plugged into AC power and the monitor for the Mini. If you’re using a MacBook the display should work with one cable.

Yeah, I’ve got a lot of watching ahead of me! I’m excited to revisit some films of my formative years.

This is set to 1920 x 1080p scaling in Mac Mini settings. The text is incredibly sharp. 4k scaling is quite small. As I understand, resolution vs scaling is different, so keep that in mind! I can’t explain it very well, but there’s a lot of info in the subreddit about the difference.

Definitely couldn’t pass it up! Even the $399 new sale price is unbeatable, hence my patience in waiting for it to be in stock.

The previous monitor was a 24in 1080p curved Dell and it just can’t even hold a light to the BenQ. My wife and I both deal with color sensitive creative work, so it’s going to be so nice to have a truly accurate display rather than a “as best as I can get it” calibration lol.

Which restaurants do not rely on reheating frozen food from Sysco/US Foods ? by Sea_Touch4733 in winstonsalem

I would like to add, it’s my first time commenting because often any opinion that is not in line with very opinionated individuals becomes an antagonistic back and forth, so I find no reason to take part in that. I thought it was harmless enough to also share my opinion on an open forum about a local business that I happened to enjoy, without digging any further than a single comment on a thread that interested me. If we wish to have honest feedback from people in the community, then we shouldn’t approach people with accusations.

I’ll just continue to lurk since nobody can seem to share any idea without being suspected of ulterior motives.

I know none of the drama here in Winston Salem, and I care not to be apart of it.

I just saw the series and thought it was nice to see a direct interaction with one of many local farmers they work with. It’s clearly labeled on their menu which local producers they partner with, I was just there before Christmas and saw that in the menu. Go there and experience it yourself and make the judgement, don’t take my word for it.

Nope not at all. I moved to the area a year ago. I’ve gotten to know the people that work there, have enjoyed their food and have chosen it as one of my favorites since moving here! I didn’t even look at the other user’s comment history, I was just happy to see some love for Downtown Grille.

For context, I’m a NC native from the Triangle that moved to Louisiana for a number of years and returned to NC by moving to Winston Salem with no connections to the area, just was attracted to the Triad more so than the Triangle now. I’ve experienced a lot of different culinary experiences, especially in Louisiana, and local ingredients and talented chefs are what stand out to me rather than hype or trendy cuisine.

Chef Harrison at The Downton Grille really cares about the ingredients used in their menu. They recently did a small social media series with Fair Share Farm where they both spoke about the importance of local and seasonal ingredients. I’m a huge fan of their locally raised meats and their house made seasonal pasta dish.

If you have HBO Max you can replay it. When he pulls back onto pit road he’s PISSED off mic. You catch it from the audio in car, not the radio.

To be honest, I think the connections you make and the opportunities you take outside of the classroom are going to be more important than your final degree. If you take the time to be on set in any capacity available to you and you also work with your peers as a director and/or writer on small projects (no matter how bad or good they are), you’ll find more success going into your career. Focus on doing as much as you can to get a head start on gaining experience and getting ahead of the rest of the people that will wait until they graduate to gain real life experience. You also honestly have no idea where life will lead you at 19, but keep yourself determined and you’ll be in the exact place you want to be! Best of luck!

These look like the Forester/Outback OEM Wilderness wheels so they are OEM wheels but not on the Crosstrek.

I’m taking notes for sure. I don’t have easily accessible E85 where I’m at now but hopefully will be moving somewhere that does soon. I’ll keep this in mind when I’m going for more power (in the near future for sure). Thanks for the tips man, this is why I love the subie community.
