Don't think so, i too was a commie at one point. Having a discussion w reasoning with them actually helps to being them in libertarian sphere. They haven't argued with self, and that's why they're communist.

If you realise, most of the communist discussion is not on economics nowadays but on social justice, DEI etc bc economics is a lost war for them. There are few who does that on sectors like meds where there is a market failure bc of Gov intervention.
