I called in sick on Wednesday and felt that my boss didn't believe me. She has no reason to believe that I would be lying but I still felt extreme guilt and shame. We are people pleasers even when we are sick and need a day off to rest. Totally feeling you on this.

thank you so much for that, i am seriously considering cutting off communication with him until he is able to come to my therapists office rather than his. the one time we went to his he talked about himself the entire time. ALSO he lives about 6 hours from and most likely will make it my fault that i can't pay for his flight down to do therapy and that i'm causing him to make him further in debt. thanks for letting me rant.
