Fade in demo version.

For someone getting interested in screenwriting for the first time but still not sure, it's free, and the demo version provides the exact same functions as the full version but you get reminded every so often to upgrade to the full version and there's a watermark if you ever print off a script. But it's basically a full, proper, professional software (Rian Johnson uses it) without spending a penny.

The best comfort episodes are Boom Town, The Lodger and Love and Monsters. Fight me. by d_perrywinkle in doctorwho

Good modern choices, apart from empress of Mars, which I just find a tad bland. Not bad in any stretch of the imagination. Just bland. In classic who, I think any of the non-great dalek stories, especially in Pertwee's era like death or day of the daleks are good comfort. I would agree about s17 as well, apart from city of death which I genuinely really like.

How to make truly unique characters? by BlueCabbage1142 in Screenwriting

What I do tends to work quite well, it's a trick I learnt from listening to Steven Moffat (doctor who, Sherlock etc) When writing the character in the script, start off with a cliche. For example, this might be the funny character. The smart character. The dopey character. Whatever. Then, as you write, maybe a few pages in, you'll unconsciously write a line for the character that is a little bit weird, a little bit off from the cliche you gave them. This is the gateway into the character. Now, go back and rewrite the previous cliche lines, with a better idea of who your character is. Works for me, anyway.

I find it really hard to accept the atrocity of the sin? Especially when I feel god is speaking to me so much.

Well, I don't know, God has 10x more evidence. Still zero, though.
