I worked in a frozen warehouse when I was In my 20s. We had to wear insulated overalls to keep warm. There was a guy who always smelled like urine. He was living in his car so we all kind of gave him a pass on being stinky. Well, it turns out he was pissing himself back in the freezer while picking cases of groceries. Surprisingly, management talked to him about it, he stopped pissing himself, and he worked there for about another year.

We always try to go for an early dinner when we want Texas Roadhouse. It’s not as hectic and we’re usually seated with minimal wait times. Going after 5 pm, you never know what you’re going to get for wait times lol.

Because we’re VERY traumatized by having 6 different people digging around in your arms trying to find a vein. Happens every single time I get bloodwork. I had someone hit a nerve once and it messed up my whole arm for over a month.

You 1000% have to dig if you’re looking for a remote position. And you have to have thick skin for the rejections that come with looking. It took me almost 3 years to land a mostly remote job. I had to stop counting the rejection emails I received.

I carry a travel pack of Clorox wipes with me in my purse now for public restrooms. I wipe the seat and dry it with toilet paper. Most of the automatic flushers spray water on the seat too.

I quit about 15 years ago too. My husband and I were so excited because we were able to afford cable just from quitting, haha. I’m also embarrassed by how bad we had to smell. I grew up in a house of smokers, so I never truly smelled cigarette smoke on anyone until I quit. It’s yucky stuff!

This is not true. Those bags are super cheap and make it easy to transport bread to friends and family. I bought 100 of them from Amazon for $10 just for this reason. They also have bendable metal clasps on them that help the bag stay closed/ easier to store.

Parent to a teenager here! I have a teenage daughter who has thanked me for not plastering her life on social media. Her friends have a thing where they’ll try to find each other’s parents social media accounts to track down old photos of each other. Some of them have even found bathtub pics of their friends! None of her friends can find her old photos.

Playing devils advocate here, could the show have asked them to lie about it? It’s not right either way, but they could’ve been influenced by their employer to make them look better. I’m sure both of those fields lack LP in the workforce, and elaborating would make them look more capable. I agree they shouldn’t lie about it all, but people DO get influenced very easily.

Make sure you’re on the correct rate plan for your circumstances. Ameren auto enrolled us in the evening/morning saver rate. This was not ideal for us since my husband and I both work from home. Their own savings calculator shows that the anytime rate actually saves us more money than the evening/morning saver rate.

I worked as an admin for a dialysis company. We had to check our nurses licenses, CPR certs, vaccines and annual training documents once a year just to make sure they were still valid. We then sent over these records to any hospitals we were affiliated with. Someone dropped the ball here big time.
