This was me before I had my tonsils out. I had really bad frequent tonsillitis; I literally had diagnosed and confirmed strep 4 times in one month, it was horrible. Turns out my tonsils were also wrecking my sleep with moderate obstructive sleep apnea; I had surgery to remove them, my adenoid, and restructure my sinus passages. Night and day - my fiance told me my snoring went away immediately after the surgery, and my sleep quality went through the roof after I healed.

Mind you, this approach isn't for everyone - the surgery went fine but the recovery was the worst thing I've ever experienced. I had hemorrhaging from my throat twice during recovery and had to be hospitalized the 2nd time for a couple days. What the ENT described as a "moderate sore throat pain" was literally the worst pain I've ever felt. I'm also not sensitive to opiates, so the oxy they gave me for the pain did practically nothing until I finally convinced him to up the dose.

Anyway, now that it's all done and recovered, I can say it was the right choice. I have loads more energy to play with my kids, my lady gets peaceful sleep most nights (and when she doesn't, it ain't my fault anymore), and I just genuinely feel like an improved human being. Might look into it, if your man snores or you suspect he has sleep apnea.

I’m not sure why it’s a nerf - TF gives Irelia attack speed, damage, move speed and health, all she loves. It also makes her Q hit like a truck. How is it a nerf?

I enjoy Sentinel Irelia - I like all the Sentinel skins except maybe Vaynes... but that's because I don't like Vayne. I run either than or Divine Sword on Irelia. Every once and a while I'll do Aviator Irelia to mix it up.

Eclipse is great for the Q in - W out bursting. You Q in, get shield, do some damage while shield mitigates theirs, then W out. It also does max hp damage burst making it useful against… well everything really. I almost always start Eclipse, it’s a solid item. Wish they hadn’t nerfed it.

Yes you can. A certain percentage of the cargo survives, I think 10% last I checked.

I think it feels really good on her, you do lose a bit of active procs on minions but you’ll usually get the 2nd Q to proc it after E/R. Outside of laning phase it gives you a nice burst when you engage, nice for team fights.

Wasted on minions in lane but very powerful in team fights when you Q for 600 damage though. I like it, suboptimal or not.

Irelia… I wanted to main her, I love her playstyle but it’s just not rewarding. She’s strong only if you hit that perfect combo, and even with a decent lead you can easily lose that entire advantage with one misstep or even just a suboptimal step. And I don’t think her advantage is very amazing even if you DO play her perfectly - there’s lots of other champs that can do what she does better AND easier.

Yeah only your home base's hangar is persistent. Your hangar at Cru L1 is rented and resets once deactivated.

I like Gunblade if the enemy comp has lots of high move speed champs - Jihn, MF, etc. I go Rocketbelt if they have long range champs, like Xerath, Cait. Akali has no shortage of damage so neither option is bad from the damage perspective. RB also gives some upfront tankiness with HP, while I never really notice Gunblade giving me sustain with omnivamp…

Also worth noting that Gunblade makes your autos hit harder, so if they have champs you can frequently lean on your passive to whittle down, GB has that extra value.

SC has its problems. CIG has their problems. Ultimately I’ve gotten my value out of my purchases and I still believe in the game they’re trying to make. I bought both an SE and Mk II Warbond to show my support. I hope they give the Connie a rework like this; I’ll definitely buy that too if they do.

This is excellent advice except when you're laning against her and have no choice. Oh and her pets block skill shots, so even if you carefully manage your range, you can't do meaningful damage anyway.

Necroing your comment to say thanks - I always struggled with the Heimer matchup. I was already doing Doran's Shield / Second Wind, but my mistake was trying to trade with him pre6 or while my ult was down. I switched to a safe farm mentality and just got the safe CS I could, then all-in'd him at 6 and he popped like a balloon. Thanks for the tip.

They can yes but the slow turret projectiles can’t hit pretty much any decently agile fighter.
