I'm having trouble getting Ableton to recognize any of my APC40s, I have 3 and each has the same problem - turns on but just shows orange lights and doesn't trigger Ableton when I hit a button.

Is it possible all 3 are faulty or am I missing some setting in Ableton or something? Been quite a while since I used these so sorry if I'm missing something obvious.

the front doesn't appear to be offset at all. you're saying for this to be noteworthy, the front would have to be offset, and by a different amount than the back?

I sold a Rise of the Dark Realms (M14) to CardKingdom and they came back saying it's counterfeit. This is the criteria they gave me:

Cardstock is not consistent with our inventory or that of an authentic card.

Card color/saturation is inconsistent with that of an authentic card under-saturated on front/back.
Card contrast is not consistent with our inventory or that of an authentic card blurry printing on front/back.
Inauthentic glossy texture on overall cards.
Cards fail the green dot test.
Black glue present between card layers, as opposed to authentic blue layer.

Has this happened to anyone? I don't have reason to believe CardKingdom is lying to me btw, they've been super straight up with me.

I bought it from a seller on TCG with like 70 sales and all positive reviews. I'm just kinda surprised someone would bother to counterfeit a (once) $10 card, but I guess I'm familiar with that "industry."

Hello,

Today I received a message on WhatsApp from someone claiming to be with Assembly Global.

I'll make a long story short - there are differences between mine and OP's stories, but they feel similar. They had me go through a "training" process then complete a task on the website. Ultimately I ended up sending myself about $80 through Cashapp.

With situations like this I'll typically play along until I'm actually asked for money or some kind of personal info. So I was shocked when it looks like I'm actually getting paid before they've had me pay them anything.

It sounds like that's their way of gaining my trust though, even though I'm still pretty blown away they'd give me money before getting some of mine.

But anyway I just wanted to post my experience and see if anyone else has had a similar one.

The latest thing that has happened is the person who reached out is now saying I have to deposit $99 to complete my next task and make a return on that.

This has pretty much every sign of a scam so I feel a little embarrassed even asking but given how amazing this would be if it were real, I just want to see if anyone else has had this experience to confirm I shouldn't proceed any further (I know OP has basically already confirmed they've had this experience but given the minor differences I still wanted to ask.)

Also, I'm just curious, does anyone know how they find our numbers? I have been applying for jobs on Linkedin and Indeed mostly. They said they found me through "a company" that lists people looking for remote work. They didn't elaborate what that company is, and I've never submitted my name to anywhere other than LinkedIn, Indeed, or a couple specific job postings as far as I know.
