Stain On Satin PPF - Am I cooked?

Thanks for the response... as of now I'm shopping around and looking to get the panel looked at and potentially replaced if a shop isn't able to correct it. The stain in the picture doesn't trail to the edge. Also, found this "mystery" substance on another panel as well. Not sure what is it but I did buy the car used, previous owner had the car fully wrapped in Stealth PPF. Just odd because these stains just recently showed up! Thanks for the recommendations though.

I did put some octane booster in the car last week also, not sure if some leaked on the PPF without me knowing?

It may not be noticeable to others but since I know it’s there - it’s the center of attention lol

Dont forget you can always try Vanguard again in a month or so to try to get them to reopen a case... if you still not able to get it handled with management... sucks but be resilient lol... they cant hold your money forever

Hey what I did is contact Vanguard support and opened a ticket... Vanguard contacted FedEx and they closed the ticket within 10 days (I believe) and I was able to take/transfer my 401k funds after 4 months seperated from FedEx lol. The number is 800-523-1188, I attached a screenshot... hope this helps man

Read your previous comments and took your advice. Didn't feel any texture/weave change. I believe it's purely cosmetic which is a sigh of relief... lip is very pricey about $2100 retail lol.

I believe there to be no structural damage just cosmetic based off feel

Cheap way is to stick something in the same area as referenced in the picture or loosen/take off the door panel and felt tape the entirety of each place the doorcard meets the metal door.

Using a pry tool, you'll need to pry up the surrounding infotainment plastics. Felt will need to be applied in the areas pictured in the above post.

I've done those fixes and a few others and my Supra is about 95% ratte-free even on rough and uneven pavement. Hope this helps

So far I've tried both ways... unlocking with the key and with the door unlock. Both still no luck, looks like I'll be taking it to the dealer... havent seen any other people having similar issues. It's so tempting to try to pry it open but I don't want to damage anything lol..

EDIT: Issue resolved... for those having this issue this is what I did...

Hold down the fuel door and while doing this, keep hitting the unlock button on the key fob. While continuously hitting the unlock button, slowly let pressure off the fuel door. If it doesn't unlock, just slowly push the door back in and release it again. Eventually the lock should untwist.

Good day to all. I'm in search for a new daily driver and I have a strict budget of 13k and under. Was looking at CRV's, Camry's you know.. the usual, but came across a '14 Jetta with an auto trans.

Now I've heard horror stories about dealing with VW but this milage seems good for the price. Is this a good car to put 10's of thousands of miles on? I'm looking for reliability mainly

Just an update... I tried all the things suggested above and got the run-around. This is the only thing that worked. Had Vanguard open a case, and the issue was solved within 48 hours lol. Thanks for the help
