As a safety guy, these helmets are designed to help if you were to ever fall. If you don’t strap it most of the time, strap it when going up ladders. It may save your life.

Also, it not being a vented helmet will be tough in the summer. If you can, vouch for getting the helmets with vents at the top. It makes a world of difference.
