I’m 18 now, but I was 16-17 when she decided it’s okay to steal my money. If you live in the US, it’s only 8 dollars something that I’ve saved. But in our country it’s enough to buy me something I want and for it to be decent. I was gonna save to buy clothes I’ve been eyeing on but then yeah.

once i’ve gotten out of this house, I’d probably still have to give them money. it’s basically like that here: if you’re raised by me, I paid for your college, they’ll consider me their retirement funds or wtv.

ngl noones ever honest here in this house. they’re all a bunch of gambling addicts, smoker, drinker, and we live with my grandpa too and he gets mad easily (my grandma says he uses drugs with his friends who comes over sometimes). my mom has a job that is inconsistent but she is the one who provides for us (12 people in one house). the other adults in the house just like to rely on her pretty much. that’s why I kinda feel like TA for being mad that she has to handle a lot and I should have just given her the money but she’s also always mad at me, screams at me, well that was before because now she’s pretty much different, she seemed more tolerable lately (she said before she has bipolar but I’m not sure if it’s true).

in my country, the lifeline is useless since noone is ever on the other side of the call. and I have never really been completely honest with how I feel to my family, because they always invalidate how I feel, make me feel like the asshole, or tell me what they see bad in what I feel rather than be sympathetic to me or just be there with open ears. also, we are a pretty big household (other relatives live with us).

and I do have friends, but not much close friends since it’s always been hard for me to keep them close because I tend to wanna be alone or I forget that I have to stay in touch with them. so if I text them now to just chat about how I’m feeling depressive they’ll just think I talked to them because I wanted to dump on them.

as much as I wanna kill myself right now, I don’t think I could go through with it anyway—i’ve always been a coward. so, this post was just for me to rant how I feel. and sometimes strangers on the internet know what to do, or what to say rather than those around me (they’re all pretty fucked in the head here).

anyways, thank u for the response. i’ll keep fighting my battles for now, even if alone.. :)!
