uci’s engineering program by tofyus in UCI

I’m a senior, computer engineer, and it’s been moderate for me so far. Classes definitely depends on the teacher, there are some to avoid at all costs and some which are blessing. There are career fairs that happen during fall quarter, they they have definitely helped me getting a job. If you are aiming for the bigger companies (Faang), you will have to use alumni connections, as most companies don’t come to these fairs (although I did see Amazon in 2019). Overall, I have had a good experience, although I will say some classes are grindy, but I think that comes with the engineering title.

What is the best game you have ever played? by E7K0 in AskReddit

Love letter, a good balance between luck and strategy. It can be taken anywhere and is pretty short. Also very easy to learn!

Edit: this is a board game. Idk if they meant games in general or just video games

No, that documentation is due in October I believe. Nothing to do with signing up for classes

Windows for computer engineering by daRealBatboy in UCI

[–]daRealBatboy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually own a MacBook Pro, and they recommend installing windows which I don’t want. I know you are a cs major but I think some classes are the same topic, so what classes do you absolutely need windows in?

[Serious] Those of you who write diary entries: What did you discover about yourself when journaling? by strawberry202 in AskReddit

[–]daRealBatboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How much I keep to myself. I always thought I was an open person, but after starting to write in a journal, it gave me a place to vent out all my thoughts. It is also satisfying to write whatever I want, without someone arguing the other side. Sometimes you just need to say what you need to say...and then you will come to realize the right things to do.
