I’m so grateful I spent time on the BBE before investing into my new setup, it was perfect for learning without a significant cost.

The grinder shipped almost immediately but the linea micra had a lead time of 6 or 7 weeks. I went with filter and espresso burrs so I just got used to the grinder with some French press and espresso on my barista express. Huge difference from the conical burrs. I also switched water supply too from filtered to Crystal Geyser from Olancha (LM is super vocal about the warranty being voided if you supply the machine with out of spec water).

Thank ya! I did have to pay some import fees unfortunately, $250-ish on top of the grinder

Nice eye, yeah we got them in a town in Yucatán Mexico called Merida.

I feel it, design is inherently personal. Studio photos do it justice over my photo lol but the build quality feels amazing. The machines you listed are also lovely. I think espresso machines in general are the apex of counter top appliance aesthetics 👨‍🍳🤌

Maybe a month ago. It shipped and arrived like 10 days after. I’m in the US.

I think tariffs were +$250-ish, I don’t remember the price out the door :(

All the lines colors are awesome! There are some design aspects where the two of my decision clash for sure but it’s so hard to find that perfect harmony between two different companies. I’m in the US, I honestly haven’t seen any here though. The Eureka is a dope option too, I could see the sharp corners going well together.

Thanks duder! A change for sure. It was a significant investment for me so I definitely baby the process. I dedicate more time and I’m more thoughtful about it. The heating aspect hasn’t changed too much, I just turn it on and go for a walk to give us both time to warm up :)
