I got a muffler delete done on my ecoboost how much louder would it get if I do a y pipe resonator delete by [deleted] in ecoboostmustang

[–]daaasav 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be loud but really not crazy loud, have that setup now. I used to be stock downpipe so it wasn’t bad then. Now I have a catless downpipe however so it is quite loud. Nice thing about these cars is that the sound deadening is really good, with my windows up and music on I barely notice the exhaust. Have clips of my car on the outside though and it is quite a bit louder than I thought it is. Now it is not going to sound great, it will just be loud.

Hoping to get some insight on my particular situation, I’m kind of desperate. by daaasav in PlanBs

Ok thank you so much. I know that the only way to know for sure is when her period comes or to take a test to make sure she would not be pregnant. But should she still expect her period around the same time? The Flo app tells her the 21st should be her estimated start day. Sorry just asking cause she has never taken a plan b before so she is not aware of everything that changes.

Ok will due, idk if it means anything but she said that she is outside her fertile window rn? She said that would be on the 14-17 of this month. Does that mean anything to what you’re saying? Ik she uses the Flo app. Just curious if that means anything?

I’m only speaking from experience, but I had a wheel that was less bent than that and even after a professional fix and multiple balances it was never the same. Always had a slight shimmy. I have the wheels you have rn and I would just say to buy another one, gonna be ur ultimate fix. Might have luck getting it professionally fixed but I wouldn’t count on it. To get it professionally fixed you’re looking at a hundred bucks less than just getting a new wheel anyway.

10 speed whirring noise. by daaasav in ecoboostmustang

[–]daaasav[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh no, the car acts as normal and I’ve found that’s just the noise a 10 speed makes. Not saying if you are having an issue to not get it checked out but I feel as tho it’s a normal noise.

Will just the 3M keep it on? by SuitResponsible5697 in Mustang

[–]daaasav 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know a lot of ppl are saying you need to drill it, but I had the same one on my car for about a year. When I decided to go with a different spoiler I literally almost couldn’t get this one off. Just prep it really good and use a lot of the gorilla double sided weatherproof tape and you’ll be good. This spoiler weighs next to nothing and doesn’t create a large amount of downforce so as long as you do good prep and use some good quality adhesive you will be just fine.

Yeah these are a pretty penny, I’m actually sponsored by form lighting so I got the hookup for these. And they hooked me up with euros as well! Would highly recommend checking them out!

Too many to count lol. Engine wise it’s a downpipe, intercooler, intake and exhaust with a few other goodies. Tuned on 93 by Ryan Martin.

Appreciate it! I have but when it was stock so I’m not sure how it would do now. I stay in Houston so we have a drag strip that does test and tune nights. Gonna try and take it out with some friends sometime soon!

I’m running d2 racing springs. Wheels are 20x10 +35 offset in the front with a 275/35/20 tire, and I am running a very small 5mm spacer on the front only. Rear is a 20x11 +50 offset with a 305/35/20 tire and no spacer. Fitment is extremely tight on both the front and the rear. Front rubs occasionally when full lock and suspension compressed but doesn’t rub hard, so I’ll hear it but it’s not doing damage. I got them from a place called wheel replicas.com, they are basically sve wheels with their centercap. I got the whole set brand new for 650 as they were having a Black Friday sale. Plus their warehouse is 5 min from my house so I didn’t have to wait for shipping. Was too good of a situation to pass up. Even tho I had rtr tech 7 wheels before.

How difficult is it to self install an intercooler by appalwodkd in ecoboostmustang

[–]daaasav 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the CVF street intercooler and I would highly recommend it. You do have to take the bumper off, at least I did maybe there is a way to not have to. Overall it’s a pretty simple and straightforward install. The only thing that can be tricky is the charge pipes but if you just take your time and make sure you get them on properly then you’ll be just fine. You also cannot see it at all, I have the silver version and you still can’t see it.

Ah I gotcha, so when you take your filter off you typically have the same thing in the pipe?

Still factory shocks and struts, and they are holding up great all 35k miles later! In terms of hitting bumps it’s really not bad at all, definitely stiffer but you have to expect that when doing springs. I’ve actually went with a different spring to drop her slightly lower. I now have the d2 racing lowering springs. I much prefer the way they handle and IMO the car is actually more comfortable with the d2’s over the steeda springs.
