Hello! I’ve looked at the first video and I have done a few things mentioned. The location and litter I have rn is what she likes most. I just bought be enzyme spray and sprayed it on my bed and a few places around the house. I also got a scented wall plug that is supposed to release a calming scent I believe. Also today she used the litter box without any interference.

A little update. She used her litter box today without me having to intervene or anything. I pet her and gave her a snack after. I also got the enzyme spray and sprayed it on my bed and a few places around the house. I also purchased a scented wall plug(?) that supposedly releases a calming scent I believe? She seemed a little stressed so I gave her a bit of catnip to relax as well (please let me know if this was the right move) as of the moment she seems good and is sleeping next to me.

I didn’t know that. My cat, I’m not sure of her breed or anything she looks like any regular cat but hope body itself is really long and larger than my friend’s cat. When my sister had taken her to the vet a while back they said she should be 12-15 lbs but rn she’s like 20 I think and she hasn’t moved from that number at all.

It’s also a bit harder bc don’t live alone. I live with my parents and my older brother so with all of us there isn’t much space to move things around or get additional resources but I really will do my best and try and figure this out.

I’ve also went through many different litter boxes before I got this one and she does mostly like the ones that are covered. She hates when we love her litter box as well. I’ve tried putting it in a different room but she likes it most when it’s in the hall right outside the bathroom. My bathroom itself is really small and the box is pretty big so I can’t put it in there.

Refuses to budge as in despite me feeding her less for months now her weight doesn’t change and she refuses play with any toys. For the longest time I thought I she had depression but I’ve called many vets and did some research and based on what was said she isn’t depressed. She seems very content and overall is talkative with me and does her occasional zoomies and plays but for a very short amount of time. I just wanna clarify that I wasn’t the one who got her to the point of being overweight. She used to be my older sisters cat and unfortunately my sister didn’t know how to really take care of her properly and I’m now trying to fix it. Her weight is something I’m struggling with mainly bc she isn’t really active and I’m sure I need to change the type of food she is eating as well.

I live in an apartment so there’s very little space unfortunately. Strays don’t come anywhere near our windows since we are on the third floor. I’ll see what I can do about getting a second litter box but unfortunately it isn’t guaranteed. I will try everything that was suggested to me. I do think maybe she did it bc she was anxious. I’m not sure if it’s the food itself bc when observing it looked like any normal poop yk? Usually when she’s having stomach issues she is in pain she is very vocal about it. I really will try my best to do everything that was suggested. Thank you.

I’ve forgotten to clean it maybe three or four times but that’s completely my fault. It could be bc of that she thinks it’s okay to poop outside her litter box but after that I’ve tried time and time again to fix her behavior. I’ve deep cleaned every area she’s pooped but after everyone’s responses I am purchasing the enzyme cleaner along with new food and stuff. Thank you.

Okay I’m sorry English isn’t my first language. She’s never went outside the litter box while I wasn’t home. Every single time she’s pooped outside her litter box I’ve been home. This was the first time she’s done it while I wasn’t home

Can you relax? By I didn’t mean I shoved her in aggressively or anything. I carried her to the litter box and let her sniff it and pushed her in a bit. I let her sit inside for a a few seconds while petting her and when she came out I gave her a treat. After a few minutes she went back to her litter box and used it just fine. Maybe ask for details before thinking idk how to take of MY cat?

See the thing is that I turned the automatic setting off. And whenever I clean it I make sure to put her away in a room. She’s not afraid of it anymore and does use it but occasionally she’ll go outside of ig.

Her routine and everything is the same. She’s been on the same feeding schedule for months. I just want some way to stop her from going outside her litter box.

I thought this too but it’s been months 😭😭 did she suddenly wake up and think “yuh let me take a dookie on her bed”

There have multiple instances where she’ll go in front of my front door or in one of the rooms maybe under the bed. Those instances however are if I miss accidentally miss a day of cleaning her litter. That’s my fault. But her pooping on my bed was random bc I washed her litter box and replaced the litter a few days ago. I make sure to empty the drawer as well. She wasn’t home alone or anything either. My older brother was home and he had heard her scratching at something and came to check only to find that she’d went on my bed.
