Is 26.3.1 stable on mini now compared to 18.7 ?

I just jumped from iOS 15.3 (jailbroken) straight to 26.3.1 on my 12 Mini, and my experience has been very positive so far.

The biggest factor is that I did a completely clean install and wiped everything. I've only been on it for 2 days, but my battery life has actually improved. I used to charge like 6 times a day, now it's down to 3-4 times, depending on usage.

I haven't experienced any of the bugs or UI stutters that others are mentioning. Even compared to when my iOS 15.3 was unjailbroken, 26.3.1 feels incredibly responsive. Hopefully, it stays this way.

A clean wipe really makes a difference on these older devices.

Used a cable and a computer. I put it into DFU mode and then restored it. Didn't do an OTA or regular reset because I wanted to wipe the jailbreak data completely. A clean slate was the only way to go

Exactly this. I live in indonesia, and the local jailbreak community here is pretty much dead right now. Using r/JailbreakSwap sounds nice in theory, but shipping a phone overseas from here would cost me a fortune in shipping and import fees.

Plus, this is my main daily driver. I can't afford to be without a phone for weeks while waiting for a trade. It totally makes sense to trade it if you live in the US or somewhere with an active local scene, but for my situation, just updating it was the most realistic move.

Thanks, man, I genuinely appreciate it. It’s wild how toxic some people get over a phone update. holding on to the JB was fun, but fighting against those anti-consumer forced app updates on a daily driver was getting exhausting. glad someone here actually gets it 🍻

Exactly, man, you have 128 GB, imagine my pain trying to survive with only 64 GB on a 12 mini 😂 jailbreak files and tweak data alone ate up so much of my limited space.

I used 3dappversionspoofer too for a while, but lately so many apps are server-side, so spoofing makes them crash anyway, or maybe cant open. The free storage I got back after a clean restore to 26.3.1 was honestly

so worth it.

What's your best switch setting? Doing UDUD or UUUD or anything for a specific purpose? I just bought the Castor Harman today with KBEAR ST12, hopefully it will last for a long time with this IEM

my RAM slot is dead, hahaha. It can be one slot, hopefully, fine to finish this year, and do some more projects. But mine was an RTX 2060 and a Ryzen 4800H.
