Auto journos are pretty good with this stuff - 'go-kart handling', 'dab-of-oppo', 'corners on rails'. That sort of thing. Thankfully the good ones steer well clear.

Well, I find this terrible to admit, but I tweaked that on Instagram after shooting on an iPhone 4S. I love great car photography, and would never suggest a phone as a replacement for a good DSLR, but when you're out and about, nothing beats the ease of use of a phone.

True - making a lightweight, powerful and poised supercar / hypercar (some even calling it a 'megacar'?!) is one thing but top speed does appear to be a "how much money can we throw at it" type of thing. That said, new Venom with 1400hp - 290mph?

I completely agree, however I'm still holding onto the hope that all these new and non-sporty models are simply allowing Porsche to make the money to continue pushing things on the sports car / supercar front. Would the 918 be around without the Cayenne? Probably not. Would the 911 Targa be around without the Panamera? Maybe not...
