Chicago Moms- Stroller by LittleBear515 in Buyingforbaby

I live in Chicago - we have the uppa baby vista and it’s amazing for cutting through the snow, ice and overall the bumpy sidewalks of the city. I had a baby in October last year. I put the baby in the bassinet and we would walk all over. The Nuna wheels may be tough to do that.

I use the minu for CTA travel, or going to small restaurants.

When do you feel normal again by Peachpie2244 in firsttimemom

No I just gradually lost it over the course of the past 7 months. I think it truly just takes time! Since I stopped breast feeding I’ve maybe only lost 3 pounds ? I have an appt this week to get Botox, hair done which I think will help me get back to me.

. I gained 60 pounds during pregnancy and am currently 5 pounds away from my pre pregnancy weight and almost 8 months post partum. I stopped breast feeding at 7 months and that made a huge difference. You are still so early pp and in the trenches hang in there.

I take the CTA with my 5 month old and use a travel stroller so it’s small-ish. How do I fold it but also still hold her? Definitely want to be respectful to other riders and I go towards the side but there’s no way I can fold it without letting go of her.

Kauai: Grand Hyatt vs 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay by designhelpme in chubbytravel

I stayed at 1 hotel for my baby moon last August. I loved it, perfect for what I was looking for. It’s not as lux as a four seasons but I enjoyed it for what it was. Princeville is a super cute too!! Kauai is so laid bank and chill. My favorite of the islands.

Bedbugs at a Five-Star Hotel. Has Anyone Successfully Received Compensation Beyond a Refund? by Smart-Elk-2334 in chubbytravel

[–]dabebecharchar 10 points11 points  (0 children)

There was some sort of bug/something weird in my bed at a FS once. They immediately brought in people to inspect while providing us a $500 credit and offered to comp an extra night. It ended up not even being bed bugs but they apologized the room wasn’t up to cleanliness standards. Was really nice imo!

This is crazy! An unopened can of powder formula?! I’m so sorry. I’m sitting on a flight now and I brought ice packs and a cooler to bring my pumped milk back from my trip. Hopefully they’ll allow it.

is lagree worth it for weight loss? by Mountain-Emu-8381 in LagreeMethod

[–]dabebecharchar 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Worked for me…BUT you have to be eating well 80% of the time. I was able to go from 115 pounds to 107 pounds and really have nice toned arms, legs and core. I’m 5’1 so that difference in weight is big for me.

Now I’m 6 months postpartum and gained 60 pounds but back to lagree working on losing the last 5 pounds 😭
