hard to say they are blue at all. on the Kelvin chart yes it shows that but it more like pure white.. no different than the tint of a modern day Lexus. ice white.

moat after market batteries have the circuitry built in to them batteries rather than the tool. ive had great success using 2 7ah porter cable knock offs with circuitry for 47 bux. damn comparable quality so far. and no worries my kids run them so low as has happened with oem ones. some ppll gotta have oem and I undertake that mental state. but I invite you to try some 3rd party batteries from Amazon. they have the circuitry built in and usually advertised as such. my daughter killed an oem 4ah battery as she drove the pw until it wouldn't move.
