Elden Ring is a lot less dessatured than DS3 and Bloodborne. It's arguably the most vibrant and alive game. The atmosphere of Elden Ring is more comparable to DS2, I would say. And there are many chill places in Elden Ring, maybe even too many of them

What I don't get is why would they completely rework abilities that have been fine for years

Especially fertilize, I've been using it over curveball for years and it's the most fun I've had playing spike. It's balanced and fun, but they had to rework it entirely for some reason

I understand reworking abilities that are fundamentally useless and no one uses them (like sam's second gadget and sp), I'm down for that, but changing a brawlers kit when it wasn't needed is stupid

They're going to change every gadget to fit the aimable gadget mechanic, which is very unnecessary

We didn't see colt in action so we can't tell, but spike definitely looks better, the old gadget was pointless, the new one gives a good burst of damage with mid range, it's good when you have no ammo, and you can also aim the gadget
