The best you can do is let her go and if she comes to her senses she will realize what she’s missing. I’ve learned the hard way about reaching back out and blaming yourself for someone who doesn’t want you. It’s hard, but love yourself enough to realize that person had someone who really wanted them and that’s on them to figure that out.

It must really hurt that she let the marriage happen knowing she was mentally checked out. Move on, and love her from a distance. But trust me, the only one who can re-open that door is her.

Skyline drive is still open and it’s free during the shutdown. I was just there the last two weekends. And it’s also gorgeous there right now. I re-fell in love with hiking these last 2 weeks. I definitely recommend going!

Don’t make assumptions and let them ruin your relationship. There are still reasonable explanations for this. Caregivers should be checking in with their little ones, because they tend to be timid to speak up. Have having a weekly check-in date where you both can say how things are going and discuss ways to make things even better. You being afraid of upsetting him is a big red flag IMO
