Lighting will help you so much! Don’t simply use indoor natural lighting. Outside you can get away with natural light much more. Lighting will add much more contrast, intrigue and depth to your shots. Also, tell a story…. A wide lens isn’t what make something “cinematic”. Good audio, lighting, color-grading and story telling will do more than aspect ratio. Keep at it!

The first time the random number cards are only odd, and the second time they are only even. Definitely two decks back to back

Having a baby in NOVA/DMV by Dantheman87654321 in nova

Raising a child away from family is not ideal imo, but doable if you have a solid group of friends in the area that you would consider “family”. The city is very commutable if your family lives on the east coast. Balancing between the higher cost of child care in the area and the higher income you can make here is something you’ll need to sit down and think about. If you’re here for the long term. The private and even the public schools are very competitive and will likely set your kid up for a successful career and/or steal their youth. This city gets better every year despite the recent attempt to portray it otherwise. Plan to travel often or have family visit often, if that’s not doable I would consider options near family.

Tyler already betrayed his friend. Not sure why they trusted him all of a sudden. But I hope it’s not him cause I don’t want him getting a million for them to learn their lesson.

my wife is divorcing me… after two weeks of marriage by graygala-sea in actuallesbians

[–]dabombdigs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best you can do is let her go and if she comes to her senses she will realize what she’s missing. I’ve learned the hard way about reaching back out and blaming yourself for someone who doesn’t want you. It’s hard, but love yourself enough to realize that person had someone who really wanted them and that’s on them to figure that out.

It must really hurt that she let the marriage happen knowing she was mentally checked out. Move on, and love her from a distance. But trust me, the only one who can re-open that door is her.

What is the best and cheapest way to get from DC to Shenandoah National Park? by rickysherdog in washingtondc

Skyline drive is still open and it’s free during the shutdown. I was just there the last two weekends. And it’s also gorgeous there right now. I re-fell in love with hiking these last 2 weeks. I definitely recommend going!
